Untreated Rock Salt
Mined rock salt supplied by Independent Salt Company. The SDS identifies the product as sodium chloride, with synonyms salt, rock salt and halite, and lists deicing as a recommended use.
Specifications: Solid crystalline mined rock salt; colorless to white with black specks; odorless; sample composition 95.0189% sodium chloride per ASTM E 534-91; approximately pH 7; specific gravity 2.165; water soluble; nonflammable.

Untreated Rock Salt
Mined sodium chloride rock salt for economical, dependable snow and ice control. Untreated mined rock salt is the base/value product in the All American dry deicing line. It provides straightforward melting action and traction support for contractor, commercial, and municipal winter operations.

Rock salt treated with Turbo Melt liquid for an enhanced, ready-to-apply granular deicer. Treated Rock Salt uses mined rock salt treated with Turbo Melt liquid to create a ready-to-apply granular material for professional snow and ice control.

~97.9% mined rock salt / 2.1% Turbo Melt liquid (4 gal Turbo Melt per ton); white to off-white crystals; not DOT-regulated as hazardous.

Base-23 is the standard All American 23% salt brine and the base for enhanced brine blends.

Commercial deicing and anti-icing liquid based on sodium chloride brine. The SDS identifies Base-23 as the standard sodium chloride brine base used in All American liquid formulations.
