Organic-Enhanced Brine With Built-In Corrosion Protection
EcoGrip is our Base-23 brine enhanced with an organic melt-boosting additive and a corrosion inhibitor, giving you improved traction performance and reduced metal wear in one liquid — without switching to a separate corrosion-control product.
Melt Performance and Metal Protection in One Pass
EcoGrip blends approximately 10% GEOMELT 55 organic additive and 2% M-605 L corrosion inhibitor into 88% Base-23 brine. The organic component improves grip and melt performance at the pavement surface, while the corrosion inhibitor helps protect your spreaders, tanks, and treated surfaces from the wear straight chloride brine can cause over a season.
Run it as your standard anti-icing or pre-wetting brine on equipment and routes where corrosion control is a priority. EcoGrip ships exclusively in 275-gallon brine totes.
Standard brine sprayers
Fully compatible with 12V and hydraulic truck-mounted spray systems. No special nozzle modifications required — fills and runs with existing equipment.
Road & highway use
Approved for state, county, and municipal road applications. Effective on high-speed travel lanes where pre-treatment before a storm minimizes disruption to traffic flow.
Parking lot use
Ideal for commercial parking facilities, hospitals, and large-format retail. Pre-treat high-traffic surfaces before temperatures drop to prevent bonding and reduce slip-and-fall risk.
Combined with solid salt
Use as a pre-wetting agent on your v-box or spinner spreader to activate dry salt on contact. Reduces bounce-and-scatter loss and cuts total material usage per lane-mile.
Versatile Liquid Brine That Works With Your Current
Fleet & Equipment
EcoGrip integrates seamlessly into both direct-liquid-application (DLA) programs and pre-wetting operations. Whether your fleet runs dedicated brine tankers or you’re adding a spray bar to an existing plow truck, our product delivers consistent performance without requiring you to rebuild your workflow.
Anti-icing applied 1–4 hours before a storm event reduces total material spend and call-back routes. Combine with treated solid salt for maximized pavement coverage in high-accumulation events. Our team can advise on application rates for your specific route density and storm profile.

EcoGrip — Technical Specification & Product Data
EcoGrip is produced by blending an organic melt additive and a corrosion inhibitor into our Base-23 sodium chloride brine at controlled ratios (88% Base-23, 10% GEOMELT 55, 2% M-605 L). It ships exclusively in 275-gallon brine totes — contact us to confirm current availability, pricing, and regional delivery lead times before your season begins.
Full Safety Documentation Available for Your
Fleet & Compliance Records
EcoGrip is a non-hazardous product under standard deicing use conditions. A complete Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is available for download, including handling guidelines, first aid procedures, spill response protocols, and environmental considerations — formatted for your OSHA-compliant safety binder and municipal procurement documentation.
Cut Corrosion-Related Maintenance, Not Just Ice
Built-in corrosion protection on every load of EcoGrip means less spreader and tank wear over a season without a separate corrosion-inhibitor purchase or application step — fewer equipment repairs alongside the usual 25–35% material savings from pre-treating instead of reacting.
